Prior to this post, we did a three part series entitled “Genes Didn’t Do This to You”. We talked about Dr. Bruce Lipton speaking about how our thoughts can determine our health outcome.
How about no thoughts?
What am I talking about? I don’t know if you are aware, but I am involved with animals and animal chiropractic. I have been taking my animals to a chiropractor for well over 20 years now. It started off with injuries as my animals were involved in dog sports, but as my understanding grew I started taking all of them right from the first week of life. They respond amazingly to chiropractic! It is generally done on dogs and horses, but any animal will benefit from chiropractic care.
I can’t tell you how many times people bring their dogs in for a limp and are AMAZED because after just one adjustment their dog isn’t incontinent anymore! They didn’t even tell us that was a problem in the first place. Being subluxated can cause a host of issues all over the body. The difference between animals and us is that they don’t have any pre-programmed beliefs. They come wherever we take them and put up with whatever we do to them, but once it’s over they shake it off and life goes on. They don’t think something will or won’t help them. They just are. I have seen some amazing transformations over the years with both dogs and horses. Even when that happens the owners still second guess what happened. The animal doesn’t have to. It feels better, it IS better and that’s all it knows.
Maybe it’s time to go back to the animal in us,
clear out thoughts and stop second-guessing or
worrying about what could go wrong.
Take a deep breath, clear your thoughts and be a dog!
